7 segments about life in 1990s Italy: two MPs from the opposite sides of the political spectrum spend the night together; during their honeymoon, a woman cheats on her husband with her favorite soap opera star; a married man pretends to be ill to seduce his younger nurse; a family discovers that their son's beautiful fiancée is transgender; an unsatisfied single woman is duped by her celebrity crush for Kevin Costner; two best friends want to have fun; a couple on a tropical holiday is fascinated by their indigenous masseuse.

In 2008, Le Macabre, a small Italian CBGB's, closed its doors. Like the famous New York club, it was a hub for rock music in the 1980s and 1990s, but was located in Bra, in the sleepy Italian province. Diaframma, Marlene Kuntz, Vinicio Capossela, Nico, C.C.C.P., and many others performed on its stage. Through its protagonists, the film tells the story of the birth of a music movement that wanted to shake off the myth of singer-songwriting. It is the story of the Busso family who created and ran it, but also that of a generation that found an identity in music.

The playful film 1+1+1 shot on classical (old fashioned?) 16mm medium deals with the idea of progress. Progress is an issue that is becoming more and more pressing in these times of crisis developing to crisis developing to crisis – maybe progress of crisis? With a leap in the technologisation of life, but also growing inequalities and various tensions. We love progress, improvements, advances, growth. Is there a space for another loves? The film integrates situational acting with joyful elements of musical with meetings mostly writers and intellectuals in their natural environment. The story progresses through a road movie (sometimes a walk movie) – the journey of three main fictional characters.

An extraordinary black comedy that explores the limits of survival and absurdist political power games. The story takes place in times of elections in Mexico. A candidate for Governor runs over a pregnant migrant. After the accident, and to avoid a possible scandal, he hides her in a building he owns. Pressured by his political boss and so as not to ruin his political career, the candidate evicts the migrant. In a non-realistic style, the film focuses on the stories that surround the migrant during her search for a room. A radical film, with a critical gaze, that reflects the spirit of contemporary Mexican society.

Vennela 1+1⁄2 (Telugu: వెన్నెల 1+1⁄2) is a 2012 Telugu film directed by Vennela Kishore. It is a sequel to the 2005 Telugu film Vennela by Deva Katta. It stars Chaitanya Krishna, Monal Gajjar, Brahmanandam & Vennela Kishore in the lead. Sunil Kashyap provided the music. It was released on 21 September 2012.
